10 O'Clock Hour

Every Sunday during the fall and spring months, Asbury invites everyone to our 10 O'Clock Hour, which offers programs for adults, youth, and children before the 11:15a Worship Service. We provide nursery care through the worship service. 10 O'clock Hour takes a break during the summer months, as well as during the Christmas holiday season.

Adult Study and Fellowship Time (addresses topics relative to our faith and growth)

This fall, we will be using Living the Questions 2, which has added some new voices. Come around 9:45a for fellowship and coffee or tea. Hope to see you there!

Creative Kids (for children, ages four to eleven)

Book Study: Breathing Under Water, Fransican Richard Rohr

Co-Facilitators: Ruthie Duran Deffley, Andrea Harrelson, and Steve Johnson
Meets in the Conference Room, first floor
A perfect writer about the Twelve Steps, Rohr explains how the renowned AA program is preeminently spiritual and how it has the power to rescue people from a tidal wave of compulsive behavior and addiction—helping them "breathe under water" and discover God's love and compassion. Rohr identifies the core Christian principles of the Twelve Steps and connects them to the message of the Gospels.
